Joan's Baked Chicken & Broccoli Supreme

  3 C cooked shredded chicken (I used chicken tenders and cubed them before cooking)
            1 lb fresh broccoli -break in pieces, and steam for 2 minutes
            (If using frozen broccoli, do not precook)

Sauce 
            1 can cream chicken soup
            1 Tbs butter (Save the rest of the cube for the topping)
            1/2 soup can of milk
            2 C grated cheese
            1 C sour cream

Topping
            2 tubes crushed club crackers (Or Ritz crackers, etc)
            1 stick (minus 1 Tbs) melted butter
            1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)

 Layer cooked chicken and broccoli in greased casserole or baking pan.  Combine sauce ingredients and heat just until butter, cheese and sour cream are melted then pour over chicken and broccoli.  Do not stir.  Mix remainder of butter cube with cracker crumbs.  Spread crumbs over cheese sauce and bake uncovered at 350 for 30-45 minutes until knife inserted in center is hot.
